Senior Technical Accounting Manager, CPA

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Technical Accounting Manager, CPA will navigate complex transactions, implement new accounting standards, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Draft high-quality accounting memos and analyses for management and external auditors on complex transactions
• Evaluate and operationalize accounting for non-routine transactions, providing strategic guidance to business partners
• Lead accounting and valuation for M&A transactions and strategic investments, ensuring compliance with accounting policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and an active CPA license
• 8+ years of progressive technical accounting experience under U.S. GAAP, including exposure to financing arrangements and business combinations
• Public company experience, including SEC reporting and SOX 404 internal controls
• Prior Big 4 audit or transaction advisory experience, or equivalent in-house technical accounting role at a high-growth technology company
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex security structures and valuation methodologies
