Senior Technical Architect
Job Summary
Leading solution architecture for the USTRANSCOM Joint Transportation Management System, the full-time Senior Technical Architect will manage end-to-end architecture products, drive digital engineering strategy, and ensure compliance with DoD transformation objectives in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of operational, business, system, data, and integration architecture using MBSE methodologies
- Develop and manage system models in SysML/UML to capture requirements and ensure full traceability
- Drive the adoption of digital engineering practices, including configuration management and model-driven decision support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise/system/solution architecture for large-scale federal or DoD IT programs
- 5+ years of hands-on MBSE and/or Digital Engineering experience in complex system-of-systems environments
- Experience developing architecture products using SysML, UML, and DoDAF/UAF or comparable modeling frameworks
- Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx EA, or equivalent
