Senior Technical Architect
Job Summary
To support innovative healthcare design projects, the full-time Senior Technical Architect will develop technical designs, produce construction documents, and collaborate with design teams, while enjoying the flexibility to work remotely or from office locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops technical designs and edits architectural drawings to meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements
- Performs design activities including programming, code research, and site surveys
- Coordinates with contractors and consultants to address constructability issues and obtain necessary documentation
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of project work experience across all phases of the project cycle
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and relevant building codes
- Completion of related post-secondary education
- Registration with a relevant professional architectural association is an asset
