Senior Technical Architect
Job Summary
To support a growing practice in Health Sciences, the full-time Senior Technical Architect will develop technical designs and construction documents while collaborating with design teams to ensure project quality, timelines, and budget adherence, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Developing technical designs and editing architectural drawings to meet project quality and budget requirements
- Performing design activities including programming, code research, and site surveys
- Coordinating with contractors and consultants to address constructability issues and obtain necessary permits
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of project work experience
- Experience in all phases of the project cycle
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes
- Completion of related post-secondary education; registration with a relevant professional architectural association is an asset
