Senior Technical Marketing Engineer
Job Summary
To drive adoption and understanding of Forward's automation capabilities, the remote Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (Network Automation) will partner with product management, design customer workflows, and develop technical content while influencing product direction and market positioning.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management to define and shape automation-related capabilities and use cases
- Design and evangelize customer workflows that showcase the value of automation features
- Develop high-quality technical collateral for internal training and external marketing efforts
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a Technical Marketing Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar technical role
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including routing and network change management
- Experience with NetDevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines applied to networking
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or a related field
