Job Summary

Leading cross-functional technical programs, the full-time Senior Technical Program Manager will manage the scaling of Pinterest's Shopping and Ads catalog and infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient systems while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead programs to scale catalog, indexing, and retrieval systems for handling billions of items
• Drive execution on infrastructure modernization initiatives, managing timelines and dependencies
• Build and maintain dashboards for stakeholders to track program progress and risks

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Product Ownership in large-scale distributed systems
• Solid understanding of large-scale serving, indexing, or retrieval systems
• Experience with data analysis and building dashboards to drive decision-making
• Strong collaboration skills with experience engaging senior engineering and business stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
