Job Summary
Owning the delivery of OpenMined's flagship initiatives, the full-time Senior Technical Program Manager will manage timelines, dependencies, and project management practices for an AI-native team, working remotely with a focus on complex software development.
Key responsibilities
- Own delivery end to end for flagship initiatives, managing quarterly goals, milestones, and release dates
- Design and improve project management practices tailored for an AI-native team, incorporating AI tools and automations
- Track and report progress on milestones and OKR key results, ensuring alignment across teams and external partners
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of technical project or program management experience in complex software delivery
- Experience building or rebuilding a project management practice that earned team buy-in and improved skills
- Hands-on experience with AI-native teams and familiarity with AI coding agents
- Technical foundation with a degree in computer science or equivalent experience in software engineering
- Deep knowledge of engineering trackers like Linear, Jira, and GitHub, with experience designing workflows
