Job Summary
To support OpenMined's ambitious initiatives, the full-time Senior Technical Program Manager will own the delivery of key projects, manage timelines and dependencies, and enhance project management practices while working remotely as an independent contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Own delivery end to end for flagship initiatives, managing goals, milestones, and release dates
- Design and continuously improve project management practices tailored for an AI-native team
- Integrate AI into project management workflows, utilizing automation for status updates and risk detection
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of technical project or program management experience in software delivery
- Experience building or rebuilding project management practices with a focus on team buy-in
- Hands-on experience with AI-native teams and familiarity with AI coding agents
- Technical foundation with a degree in computer science or equivalent experience as a software engineer
- Proficient in using engineering trackers like Linear, Jira, and GitHub to design workflows
