Senior Technical Support Engineer
Job Summary
Providing remote technical support, the full-time Senior Technical Support Engineer will assist customers with Ansys electronics simulation tools, troubleshoot complex simulation issues, and recommend workflows that align with design objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Ansys AEDT, HFSS, SIwave, and related simulation tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex issues related to signal integrity and electromagnetic simulations
- Document product improvement opportunities and collaborate with development teams on defect reports and software releases
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with a focus on high-frequency electromagnetics; Master's degree preferred
- Hands-on experience with Ansys HFSS, SIwave, or similar simulation tools
- Working knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and impedance simulations
- Experience with PCB, package, or connector design workflows
- Familiarity with microwave and antenna fundamentals, including S-parameters and wave propagation
