Owning the documentation strategy for a specific product area, the full-time Senior Technical Writer will write and edit technical documents, maintain existing content, and collaborate closely with product managers and engineers in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute documentation strategies based on product features and user feedback
- Write and test how-to guides and reference documentation, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to guidelines
- Maintain and update existing documentation, improving processes for document management and version control
Required qualifications
- Experience as a technical writer in a software company or startup
- Proficient in testing software, including APIs and command line tools
- Comfortable using the command line and solid experience with Git
- Experience working in a docs-as-code environment and collaborating with other technical writers
- Familiarity with AI and AI-native workflows, particularly with MCP servers
