Senior Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Test Automation Engineer to support the testing, validation, and quality assurance of enterprise applications for the U.S. Department of Justice, working remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams on manual and automated testing, defect management, and integration testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements
- Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, APIs, and integrations
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects while collaborating with developers to resolve issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating backend data and database transactions
- Experience with API testing and integration testing
