Job Summary
To ensure software quality standards are met, the full-time remote Senior Test Automation Engineer will create and maintain test scripts, coordinate testing activities with developers and analysts, and manage testing artifacts in accordance with VA mandated documentation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate with developers and functional analysts to create test plans and scripts, both manual and automated
- Lead continuous integration and performance testing events while managing and tracking testing artifacts in GitHub and Jira
- Identify and document defects, monitor bug reports, and perform code reviews of test scripts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in manual and automation testing
- Proficient in developing test automation scripts using languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Experience with QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Must be able to receive a Security Clearance / Public Trust
