Senior Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the P-TACTS program team, the full-time Senior Test Engineer will design and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation solutions for mission-critical software in a DevSecOps environment, focusing on building Java and Selenium automation frameworks and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases tailored to the P-TACTS DevSecOps environment
- Design, build, and maintain a Java-based Selenium automation framework, including integration of automated smoke and regression suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 10 years of related experience (8 years with a master's degree)
- Strong Java programming skills and demonstrated experience building Java-based test automation frameworks from scratch
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and implementing BDD using Cucumber
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and automating REST API tests in Java
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher-level AWS certification
