Senior Threat Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Threat Analyst will provide deep analysis for client investigations, document potential security incidents, and collaborate with technical teams to enhance client security postures during a 2nd shift schedule from Wednesday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Document and report on potential security incidents, including timelines of events
• Analyze security enforcement technologies and provide recommendations for improving client security
• Conduct knowledge transfers and training for clients on threat mitigation strategies

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a Security Operations Center or enterprise network environment
• 2-4 years of professional experience in the Information Security field
• Experience with SIEM platforms and troubleshooting security devices
• Familiarity with web-based attacks and the OWASP Top 10
• Understanding of enterprise Windows security and common mitigation controls
