Senior Toy Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly creative and commercially minded Senior Toy Designer to join a fast-growing lifestyle brand in a full-time remote capacity, where they will lead the design and development of innovative toys that evoke joy and emotional connections.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creative design and concept development for the toy category, creating original and emotionally engaging toy concepts
• Own the end-to-end design process, from initial concept through production-ready design approval, ensuring strong design integrity and commercial viability
• Stay connected to industry trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for innovative product features and differentiation

Required Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of professional experience in toy design or relevant consumer product design
• Proven experience in successfully taking original concepts from ideation through to production
• Strong understanding of toy design, construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong digital sketching and rendering capabilities
• Experience working directly with overseas factories and managing multiple sample iterations
