Senior Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Leading advanced export compliance activities, the full-time Senior Trade Compliance Specialist will manage AES filings, export licensing strategies, and internal audits, while working remotely or onsite at any U.S. location.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex export compliance activities and serve as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders, ensuring adherence to U.S. and international trade regulations
• Oversee customer and destination screening to ensure compliance with denied party lists and embargo regulations
• Manage the accurate and timely submission of Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings in the Automated Export System (AES)

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Law, or a related field
• Experience with SAP GTS or other global trade management systems
• Demonstrated expertise in export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, and trade compliance program requirements
• Proven ability to independently manage complex compliance matters and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
