Job Summary
To support the planning and execution of facility transition and relocation activities for the VA Martinsburg Warehouse IOTA project, the full-time Senior Transition Planner will develop comprehensive transition plans, coordinate multi-departmental activities, and ensure operational readiness while working remotely with occasional travel to Martinsburg, WV.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive facility transition and relocation plans
- Establish occupancy milestones, move schedules, and transition sequencing
- Coordinate transition activities across multiple departments and operational functions
Required qualifications
- At least three years of experience in transition planning and relocation services on multi-phased projects
- Demonstrated experience in conceptual advance planning and identifying occupancy milestones
- Experience in detailed implementation planning and move sequencing
- Ability to develop detailed move plans for each impacted department
- Experience in relocation execution
