Senior Transmission Line Engineer
Job Summary
Offering flexible work arrangements, the Senior Transmission Line Engineer will provide technical leadership for high voltage overhead transmission line projects, including design, planning, and client interactions, while working remotely or from various locations in the Rocky Mountain region.
Key responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts for transmission projects up to 765kV, ensuring effective project planning and execution
- Coordinate with clients and project teams, maintaining workflow and communication across multidisciplinary projects
- Support project management by developing scope, schedule, and budget for new projects, while providing regular updates and forecasts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in the electrical transmission industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with multi-state preferred
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and proficiency in PLS-CADD
- Experience with Microsoft Office software suite and a proven track record of upholding workplace safety standards
