Senior Transmission Line Engineer, PE
Job Summary
To support the Transmission Line team, the full-time Senior Transmission Line Engineer, PE will design high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, collaborate with project teams, and ensure the development of construction documents, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design high voltage transmission lines and develop comprehensive construction documents
- Facilitate collaboration between project team members and act as the primary client contact for project scope and requirements
- Estimate construction costs and specify materials while coordinating specific design aspects of projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 8 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related fields
- PE license is required
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
- Previous experience with or for a Utility is highly preferred
