Senior Travel Analyst

Job Summary

Providing direct travel management support, the part-time Senior Travel Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for NAVAIR's SSCO Travel Tracker program, ensuring compliance with travel policies, coordinating travel submissions, and conducting risk assessments in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate foreign travel submissions for compliance with relevant policies and directives
• Coordinate travel arrangements and manage travel authorizations and vouchers through the Defense Travel System
• Conduct risk assessments for proposed travel and provide training on travel requirements and antiterrorism policies

Required qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution and over ten years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with four additional years of experience
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs and travel regulations
• Strong analytical skills with experience in assessing technical reports and risk factors
• Knowledge of NAVAIR travel regulations and processes
