Senior Travel Claims Handler

Job Summary

Managing a varied caseload of travel insurance claims, the fully remote Senior Travel Claims Handler will ensure claims are investigated, assessed, and resolved fairly and efficiently in accordance with policy terms and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of travel insurance claims from notification through to settlement
• Review claim documentation and determine appropriate outcomes based on policy coverage
• Investigate complex claims and communicate with customers and third parties throughout the process

Required qualifications

• Previous experience handling travel insurance claims is essential
• Strong understanding of travel insurance policies and claim investigations
• Experience managing claims from first notification through to settlement
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex information clearly
• Demonstrable experience handling sensitive customer conversations with empathy
