Senior UI Programmer
Job Summary
Working in a hybrid environment, the full-time Senior UI Programmer will write, extend, and refine UI features for AAA video gaming experiences, collaborating closely with artists and designers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Driving and implementing UI features and systems through all stages of production, from design to polish
- Providing constructive input into the development of new features and iterating on existing ones
- Conducting code reviews and maintaining high engineering standards while ensuring UI features meet performance and scalability requirements
Required qualifications
- Advanced understanding of C++
- Experience architecting and maintaining UI systems for complex video games, including Model-View-ViewModel architecture
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 and UMG
- Experience working on and shipping at least one AAA video game title
- Solid understanding of relevant computer graphics and game technology principles
