Job Summary
To support innovative risk assessment practices, the full-time remote Senior Underwriter - East Region will manage and modernize underwriting processes for Lessor's Risk Only (LRO) and habitational business, utilizing advanced technology to assess risk and ensure compliance with state regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Quote and release new and renewal LRO and habitational business based on underwriting algorithms or policy change requests
- Analyze and approve policy changes across the LRO and habitational portfolio while ensuring compliance with state regulations
- Maintain open communication with team members and support marketing efforts to promote the company
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of underwriting/insurance experience with a strong LRO background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience preferred
- Retail agency relationship experience preferred
- Proficiency in AI and a drive for automation and efficiency
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for knowledge sharing
