Senior Underwriter, Entertainment
Job Summary
Managing an assigned portfolio of Entertainment accounts, the full-time Senior Underwriter, Entertainment will underwrite new and renewal business while ensuring profitability and growth through strong broker relationships and sound risk selection.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal business to achieve profitability, growth, and retention objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients while identifying new business opportunities in the Entertainment sector
- Serve as a technical resource for Entertainment underwriting, analyzing complex risks and reviewing contractual agreements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Economics, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial underwriting experience, particularly in the Entertainment or related insurance products
- Strong broker relationships within the Entertainment insurance marketplace preferred
- CPCU, ARM, CIC, or other professional insurance designation preferred
- Proven ability to evaluate complex exposures and make sound underwriting decisions
