Job Summary
Leading portfolio remediation efforts, the full-time Senior Underwriter - UK Licensed will conduct deep-dive performance analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical underwriting excellence in the global travel insurance sector, primarily focusing on the UK market in a hybrid working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Drive remediation efforts across global travel portfolios, focusing on the UK market
- Conduct performance analysis to identify root causes of deterioration and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with Pricing, Actuarial, Claims, and Distribution teams to execute targeted remediation strategies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in insurance data analysis, pricing, or performance monitoring
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Qualified actuary (e.g., FIA, FSA) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is advantageous
- Strong experience with MS SQL and insurance performance monitoring tools
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools, especially Power BI, and advanced MS Excel skills
