Senior Union Paymaster

Job Summary

Processing and reviewing complex union payrolls, the full-time Senior Union Paymaster will ensure accuracy and compliance within established timelines while serving as a trusted escalation point for payroll complexities in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review complex union payrolls accurately and compliantly within stated processing timelines
• Interpret and apply complex collective bargaining agreements and union rules across multiple production types
• Mentor and support Union Paymasters by sharing expertise and improving documentation and communication practices

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience processing payroll in a multi-union environment
• Advanced ability to interpret and apply union rules and collective bargaining agreements in a production payroll context
• Strong knowledge of entertainment union contracts preferred (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, IATSE, Teamsters, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex payroll scenarios
• Experience mentoring peers and improving workflows in a scaling operations environment preferred
