Senior UX Researcher
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Senior UX Researcher will lead complex user research initiatives, conducting both qualitative and quantitative studies to inform product strategy and design decisions while working remotely with a preference for candidates located in the Chicago area.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic user research initiatives, defining objectives, designing methodologies, and conducting research activities
- Manage high-impact research projects from inception to completion, delivering actionable insights for product decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user feedback into product development and advocate for user-centered design principles
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, anthropology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in UX research or a related field, with a track record of leading complex research projects
- Experience working in SaaS organizations
- Expertise in mixed-methods research, including usability testing, generative research, surveys, and behavioral analysis
- Proven ability to partner effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers to embed research into product development
