Senior Vendor Management Manager

Job Summary

Managing vendor intake and performance oversight, the full-time Senior Vendor Management Manager will ensure compliance and strong engagement with assigned vendors while working remotely within the Central or Eastern time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead vendor intake, evaluation activities, and negotiations for contracts, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives
• Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual requirements, providing guidance on issue resolution
• Manage a team of Vendor Relations Managers, overseeing their development and integration into the vendor management department

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of healthcare management experience, preferably in vendor managed care or health insurance
• Experience with reporting and analyzing data, with strong Excel skills
• Project management experience is preferred
• Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) is preferred
