Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel, this full-time remote position will manage complex mortgage securitizations, negotiate deal documents, and provide strategic legal counsel on capital markets transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Review, negotiate, and draft various mortgage-related agreements and provide legal counsel on transaction structuring
- Ensure compliance with consumer mortgage regulations and manage the legal aspects of securitization due diligence processes
- Structure and negotiate derivatives agreements while updating trading policies to comply with relevant regulations
Required qualifications
- Post-graduate degree
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in secondary market and capital markets transactions
- Significant experience with mortgage loan origination, compliance, and servicing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Strong business acumen and ability to interface with senior management
