Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel to work remotely, who will review, negotiate, and draft complex mortgage-related agreements while providing strategic legal counsel on compliance and regulatory matters in the capital markets sector.
Key responsibilities
- Review, negotiate, and draft various mortgage-related agreements, including Purchase and Sale Agreements and Servicing Agreements
- Provide legal counsel on consumer mortgage compliance and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Oversee the legal aspects of securitization due diligence and manage compliance with regulatory frameworks
Required qualifications
- Post-graduate degree
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in secondary market and capital markets transactions
- Significant experience with bulk whole loan sales and mortgage securitization transactions
- Knowledge of mortgage loan origination, compliance, and servicing is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
