Senior Web Experimentation Manager

Job Summary

Owning the experimentation program for Tailscale's highest-traffic website pages, the full-time remote Senior Web Experimentation Manager will manage the experimentation roadmap, set test design standards, and run high-stakes tests while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the experimentation roadmap by prioritizing ideas based on traffic, expected impact, and cost
• Set and maintain standards for tests, including statistical power and guardrail metrics
• Design and run critical experiments, particularly on pricing and homepage, while ensuring accurate reporting of results

Required Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in conversion optimization, web experimentation, or growth marketing
• Deep experience with testing platforms like Optimizely or VWO, including program-level setup
• Strong command of experiment statistics and the ability to evaluate test design and validity
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL for building and debugging client-side variations
• Experience coaching or mentoring others on experimentation practices
