Job Summary
To support a federal modernization initiative, the remote Senior Web/Mobile Developer will focus on hands-on application delivery, writing high-quality code for responsive web applications and cross-platform mobile experiences while integrating backend systems and ensuring compliance with federal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy responsive web and mobile applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and Power Apps
- Integrate front-end experiences with backend databases and cloud services, designing secure RESTful APIs
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility guidelines and optimize application performance across devices
Required Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in web and mobile-responsive application development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expert-level mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern framework architectures
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services and consuming REST APIs
- Ability to clear a federal background investigation to obtain a DOI Public Trust clearance
