Senior Windows Engineer
Job Summary
Providing senior-level operational support for Microsoft Windows environments, the full-time Senior Windows Engineer will manage ticket queues, monitor daily services, and resolve incidents while collaborating across teams in a Managed Services setting.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage Windows engineering tickets and service requests through resolution, providing timely updates
- Monitor Windows services and infrastructure, responding to alerts and taking corrective actions for emerging issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex break-fix issues involving Windows Server and related enterprise services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and at least 7 years of relevant infrastructure engineering experience
- At least 5 years of experience administering and supporting Windows Server in enterprise environments
- Strong experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows security services
- Experience creating PowerShell automation for operational support and remediation activities
- Experience with Windows virtualization, clustering, patching, and configuration management technologies
