Job Summary
Managing complex, high-exposure, and litigated Workers' Compensation lost-time claims, the full-time Senior Workers' Compensation Adjuster will work remotely, applying advanced knowledge to develop claim strategies and mentor junior adjusters while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently investigate, evaluate, and manage complex Workers' Compensation lost-time claims through resolution
- Develop and document strategic action plans addressing compensability, medical treatment, and litigation
- Negotiate settlements and manage litigation in partnership with defense counsel
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred
- Minimum five years of Workers' Compensation lost time claims-handling experience, including complex claims
- Required adjuster licenses and continuing education for assigned jurisdictions must be maintained
- Proficiency in compensability investigation, medical management, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with claim-management systems; Spear experience preferred
