Job Summary
Acting as a senior-level expert, the full-time Senior Workers Compensation Underwriter will manage underwriting tasks, support leadership, and provide training while working remotely to ensure quality deliverables and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Lead daily underwriting efforts, ensuring quality and timely decision-making
- Support interdepartmental collaboration by educating teams on underwriting processes and managing operational tasks
- Design and implement training programs for new and existing team members, providing ongoing mentorship
Required qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of property and casualty commercial underwriting experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of underwriting, pricing, and risk selection
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of workers' compensation class codes
- CPCU, ARM, or Agent's P&C License preferred
