Senior z/OS Software Developer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic team, the full-time Senior z/OS Software Developer will develop, enhance, and maintain document print and image file conversion software across multiple platforms, working remotely in the USA.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop portable software using IBM assembler and C/C++ in a cross-platform environment
- Troubleshoot software issues, analyze failures, and implement necessary corrections and enhancements
- Collaborate on documentation, test case creation, and performance analysis of new and existing programs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in designing and developing enterprise software on z/OS
- Expert knowledge of z/OS and IBM assembler language
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related field
- Experience with software design patterns and large projects
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in a production environment
