Senior Zero Trust Security Architect

Job Summary

Leading the development and delivery of Zero Trust Architecture training, the Senior Zero Trust Security Architect will work in a hybrid environment, managing technical content and instructing cybersecurity professionals on NIH's ZTA strategy and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the technical content for the core 8-hour Zero Trust course and design three 4-hour role-based tracks
• Deliver training sessions, including 12 core cohorts and 18 track sessions, while maintaining content currency and accuracy
• Prepare instructor kits and conduct train-the-trainer sessions to enable NIH staff to continue the courses independently

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or a related field
• At least 10 years of security architecture or engineering experience, including Zero Trust design or implementation in federal environments
• Working knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework and SP 800-53 Rev. 5 controls
• At least 3 years of experience delivering technical training to professional audiences
• CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent certification
