Senior zOS System Programmer
Job Summary
To support the Mainframe Engineering team, the full-time remote Senior zOS System Programmer will manage zOS new release installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex issues while providing guidance to less experienced team members.
Key responsibilities
- Designs, builds, and implements enterprise infrastructure technology platforms and systems
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve infrastructure standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, and database systems
