Senior Zscaler Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a high-impact Digital Transformation and Zero Trust implementation program, the full-time Senior Zscaler Security Engineer will operate, secure, troubleshoot, and expand an enterprise Zscaler environment while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of Zero Trust security controls and integrate Zscaler with enterprise security tools
• Administer and optimize Zscaler capabilities, including ZIA, ZPA, and related services, while troubleshooting service issues
• Document security requirements, conduct risk assessments, and provide architectural guidance to stakeholders on security modernization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or Zero Trust engineering, preferably in regulated environments
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Zscaler capabilities, particularly ZIA and ZPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of Zscaler policy design, SSL/TLS inspection, and traffic forwarding
• Experience with REST APIs and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, with U.S. citizenship and eligibility for government security clearance required
