Job Summary
Owning the search strategy for Pet Honesty, the full-time remote SEO and AI Search Specialist will manage organic SEO and AI optimization across various channels, conducting audits, testing content strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance visibility and drive traffic.
Key responsibilities
- Build and own the company-wide search strategy for organic SEO and AI-powered search across DTC, marketplace, and retail channels
- Conduct regular SEO and AEO audits to establish baselines and create a prioritized roadmap for improvements
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance structured data, site architecture, and content quality for improved AI visibility and product recommendations
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical and organic SEO, with a recent focus on AEO and GEO
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered search and shopping experiences, including platforms like ChatGPT and Amazon's Alexa
- Strong technical fluency with structured data, schema/JSON-LD, and site architecture
- Experience running SEO and AEO audits and developing prioritized roadmaps based on findings
- Ability to create and modify content independently without relying on traditional editorial processes
