Service Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Responsible for troubleshooting network issues and managing incidents, the full-time remote Service Assurance Engineer will ensure a stable and high-performing network environment while providing break/fix support across GTT's global network.
Key responsibilities
- Provide break/fix support and own incidents through to successful resolution
- Perform technical validation, troubleshooting, and escalation management while collaborating with customers and internal teams
- Proactively identify recurring issues and ensure operational procedures and best practices are followed
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a Telco, Service Provider, or similar environment
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills, with experience in SD-WAN, Security, and SASE technologies
- Good understanding of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and EIGRP protocols
- Experience with Layer 2 technologies, including VLANs, STP, and LACP
- Knowledge of MPLS, L2VPN, and L3VPN services
