ServiceNow API Engineer
Job Summary
Designing secure and reliable integrations among ServiceNow and federal enterprise systems, the full-time ServiceNow API Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver dependable services and measurable user outcomes in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain an inventory of approved interfaces, data flows, and authentication methods
- Engineer integrations using approved APIs and ServiceNow Integration Hub, ensuring compliance with security standards
- Troubleshoot integration performance and document architecture decisions and technical runbooks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems integration or software engineering, with a focus on REST API and ServiceNow integration
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and interface troubleshooting
- Understanding of API security, access controls, and integration testing
- Ability to document architectures and adhere to controlled production change processes
