ServiceNow API Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the full-time remote ServiceNow API Engineer will maintain and improve ServiceNow workflows for federal IT service operations, focusing on configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and support incident, request, problem, knowledge, change, and service catalog workflows
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, integrations, and data quality issues while monitoring service metrics and implementing improvements
- Develop and test Flow Designer automations with documented fallback and rollback paths
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; equivalent relevant experience considered
- 4+ years of ServiceNow administration, development, or ITSM engineering experience
- Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules, Flow Designer, scripting, and workflow configuration
- Experience with ITIL-aligned service operations, testing, troubleshooting, and change controls
