Shopify Full-Stack Engineer
Job Summary
To contribute to the development and maintenance of a Shopify-based eCommerce platform, the full-time remote Shopify Full-Stack Engineer will focus on front-end theme customization and back-end development, ensuring high-performance user experiences while collaborating with an existing development agency.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes for responsive, high-performance user experiences
- Implement front-end features using Shopify's Admin and Storefront APIs, Liquid, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with the development agency to manage concurrent workflows and resolve conflicts in development processes
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of web development experience with a strong focus on Shopify
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with familiarity in TypeScript
- Experience in backend development using Node.js and understanding of Shopify's Liquid templating language
- Exposure to React and Google Cloud Platform is a plus
- Knowledge of ADA compliance standards and best practices for front-end performance optimization
