Simulation V&V Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of simulation test engineers, the full-time remote Simulation V&V Manager will set the strategic direction for virtual verification and validation of autonomous truck technology, ensuring compliance with industry standards while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance safety and robustness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of simulation test engineers, establishing goals and priorities
• Define and own the simulation V&V strategy and roadmap to support safety case requirements
• Plan and oversee simulation test campaigns, ensuring alignment with industry standards and program milestones

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with 6+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience
• Experience leading virtual testing and simulation of perception and autonomous vehicle behavior
• Working knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21448 (SOTIF), and ISO 8800
• Technical proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis
• Experience managing cross-functional partnerships and external simulation vendors
