Single Audit Associate

Job Summary

Working full-time, the Associate, Single Audit will perform substantive and analytical auditing procedures for nonprofit organizations, prepare working papers, and assist in the preparation of financial statements while gaining industry knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain an understanding of the client's business and industry, focusing on assigned tasks
• Perform substantive auditing procedures and prepare documentation to support conclusions
• Identify and document control deficiencies or matters requiring management's attention

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience within a public accounting firm
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and eligibility for the CPA exam
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
