Job Summary

To build a vibrant community around the Portland Timbers, the remote-based Contractor Site Expert will manage daily content production, support contributors, and engage with fans through social media.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the publication of multiple daily pieces of content, including news stories and analysis
• Edit and provide feedback on articles from team contributors, suggesting topic ideas as needed
• Manage the site's social media accounts, sharing articles and engaging creatively with fans

Required qualifications

• Proven ability to produce engaging written content in English
• Experience in managing or contributing to a digital media platform
• Familiarity with social media strategies to enhance community engagement
• Strong understanding of the Portland Timbers and related fandom
• Ability to work independently as a contractor while collaborating with a team
