Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Owning problems from start to finish, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will work in a hybrid environment to enhance the performance and reliability of Taco Bell's digital systems, focusing on observability, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Create and automate internal processes to improve productivity and reduce toil
- Monitor the digital ecosystem for performance, availability, and accuracy of data
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders on system health and updates
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 2+ years of experience in the SRE space, focusing on observability and automation
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and creating dashboards and SLOs
- Understanding of incident management practices and leading postmortems
- Proficiency with SQL and intermediate knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Go, or TypeScript
