Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance system reliability and observability, the full-time remote Site Reliability Engineer will build and maintain robust systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead incident response processes while mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design observability systems and define SLOs, error budgets, and monitoring strategies
- Own 24/7 P0 on-call rotation and validate AI-generated incident reports
- Implement reliability improvements, capacity planning, and performance optimization initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
- Strong proficiency in AWS services such as ALB, ECS/Fargate, and Aurora
- Production experience with Python backend engineering and debugging
- Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and postmortems
- Solid understanding of containerization and infrastructure-as-code tools
