Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for building reliable systems, designing observability frameworks, and participating in 24/7 on-call rotations to enhance system performance and reliability across client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design observability systems and define SLOs, error budgets, and monitoring strategies
- Own 24/7 P0 on-call rotation and validate AI-generated incident reports
- Mentor and onboard additional SRE engineers as the team scales
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering at scale
- Strong proficiency in AWS services, including ALB, ECS/Fargate, and RDS Aurora
- Production experience with Python backend engineering and debugging
- Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and postmortems
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
